ITSMA hosted its seventh annual Marketing Services Conference in Monterey, California, on October 2-4, 2000, with strong attendance from across the industry. The gala event focused on the theme of “Marketing in the e-Millennium” and featured keynote speaker Geoffrey Moore, of Crossing the Chasm fame, and senior-level speakers from AppNet/CommerceOne, Diamond Technology Partners, Ericsson, Evolve, Exodus Communications, Hewlett-Packard, IDC Research, IBM Global Services, marchFIRST, Oracle Consulting, Scient, and Siebel Systems, among others. ITSMA also announced its winners of the 2000 Services Marketing Excellence Awards as well as the first Services Marketing Bocce Tournament.
