As Head of NWE Marketing, Ian Hunter works on activities to help Fujitsu influence the market to buy from Fujitsu. This builds on his expertise in B2B marketing in the ICT sector gained over 30 years in national and global roles. His specialism is the development of value propositions and go-to-market opportunity creation for new technologies and services.
Ian is passionate about grounding business activities on customer insight and he is executive sponsor of Fujitsu’s Voice of the Customer program (VOC), which is instrumental to supporting the business goal of improving customer experience.
The insights gained from VOC help drive marketing activities across the marketing mix resulting in content; thought leadership; industry and account-based/ deal-based marketing (ABM/DBM).
In 2018 Ian launched two Digital Transformation Centres; one in Munich and the other in London to support co-creation by using design thinking as a means to bring together customer stakeholders, partner eco-systems and Fujitsu to identify opportunity and capture requirements.
Educated at Warwick and Kingston Universities (BSc and MA), Ian is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He holds the Henley Certificate in Business Coaching and is a NLP Practitioner.
He is the co-author of ‘In your HEART: The guide to astonishing performance’ – based on his experiences of cycling through the Himalayas.
