Gonzalo Garcia Villanueva
Gonzalo leads marketing at Bloomberg outside the Americas. He runs a number of marketing teams in EMEA and APAC, and coordinates the marketing strategy for those regions. As a member of Bloomberg’s marketing management committee, Gonzalo is responsible for driving growth, brand, influence, and client engagement for key markets like Europe, China, Middle East, Hong Kong, Japan, and India to name a few, with a focus on measurable results, programmatic and repeatable initiatives, and innovation on areas like web, social, VR/AR, events (including virtual), content marketing, and advertising.
Prior to joining Bloomberg in 2011, Gonzalo spent over a decade in a number of senior marketing roles in the IT sector including Head of Marketing for Financial Services and Telecoms, Head of Product Marketing for UK&I, and Head of Marketing Campaigns for EMEA.
He holds an MBA (major in Tech) from IDE Business School in Madrid and a B.A. in Computer Science Engineering from Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca, Madrid.
