ITSMA’s annual Marketing Excellence Awards honors outstanding marketing programs for B2B services and solutions across the technology, telecoms, and professional service sectors. Beyond the gloss and glitz, ITSMA’s Marketing Excellence Awards honor the pursuit of excellence in the four most critical aspects of success: strategy and planning, innovation, execution, and business results.

Our 2017 program includes awards in seven categories:

  • Accelerating Growth with Account-Based Marketing
  • Closing the Insight-to-Action Gap
  • Driving Business with Thought Leadership
  • Enabling Sales for New Growth Opportunities
  • Ensuring Customer Success
  • Strengthening Brand Differentiation
  • Transforming Marketing for Digital Leadership

Please join some of this year’s finalists to hear their stories, network with peers, and gain inspiration with new ideas and approaches for your own marketing excellence. Speakers include:

Category: Enabling Sales for New Growth Opportunities
Steve Sinclair, Sales & Marketing Director, PwC

Steve leads a team of PwC consultants in the area of customer experience, sales and marketing effectiveness, and customer analytics and insight. He will share PwC’s winning entry on how the sales and marketing team seized new financial regulation as an opportunity to become the leading consulting firm on the new ruling, driving $60M in booked business.

Category: Closing The Insight-to-Action Gap
Julie Woods-Moss, Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer, Tata Communications

Julie is responsible for all company-wide marketing & communications and also leads the Innovation mandate for the company. Tata Communications’ Insights Program was designed with the overarching theme of ‘Keeping Insights at the Heart of Everything We Do.’ Julie will highlight the challenges faced and how this entailed creating a platform/tool that would be able to provide real-time account and market intelligence on-the-go, and curating customized content that would drive customer conversations. The program delivered direct impact on the sales funnel with over 500 insights as qualified leads in FY17, supported 10 product launches, and delivered account-level insights for over 1,000 key accounts.

Category: Ensuring Customer Success
Wilma Goodbody, EMEA Business Operations Director, Unisys

In 2012, Unisys embarked on a journey to validate its high client satisfaction ratings, continuously improve service to clients, and develop advocates. Its initial results provided a solid Net Promoter Score benchmark to measure success; the program has since evolved to include tying compensation to client participation and improvement over time, as well as promotion of clients’ success as evidenced by 100+ stories posted on Unisys.com. Unisys is reaping the rewards associated with improved client satisfaction and loyalty with strong renewal win rates and revenue growth in top accounts. It has truly perfected the art of ‘closing the loop” – a critical element of building loyalty and profitable business growth.

The Publisher Perspective: Whats next?
Damian Douglas, EMEA Sales Director, Bloomberg Media

Business is going through a period of accelerated digital transformation and nothing signifies this more than Bloomberg moving to a New European Headquarters in the City of London. The building represents the ‘workplace of the future’ and is designed to facilitate collaboration and innovation with people at its core. The function of the media group within the organisation is still to make business leaders smarter, faster so how is the organisation maintaining relevance in a world that is moving so quickly?
