New ITSMA Podcast! C-Suite Marketing: Expert Conversations on Executive Engagement

This article was shared before we integrated Momentum ITSMA into one single company, bringing all of our capabilities together. Learn more.

Executive engagement is far from a new topic for B2B marketers but, wow, is the context for connection different now! C-suite marketing programs traditionally have relied heavily on face-to-face interaction (executive events, advisory boards, personal briefings, and the like), but most of those approaches are off the table now. Meanwhile, connecting with the C-suite is more important than ever amid all the disruption to our most important markets and clients. What are marketers supposed to do?

At ITSMA, we’re taking a fresh look at C-suite marketing, and testing a new format, too (at least for us!). We’re digging deep into the latest thinking, opportunities, and challenges for executive engagement, and we thought you might appreciate our insights to-go. Thus, our new podcast and this invitation to check out C-Suite Marketing: Expert Conversations on Executive Engagement.

In the podcast, I talk to B2B marketing leaders about how best to engage a client’s C-Suite as we work through the global disruptions of 2020 and beyond: What’s working now, what new approaches we should try, how we need to rethink strategy and planning, and more.

Our first three episodes are live with a stellar group of guests; you can hear:

  • Jane Farland, President & Founder of Farland Group, on how to reach C-level executives in a digital world, the importance of Account-Based Marketing (ABM), and the role of peer advisory groups.
  • Lee Demby, President of Boardroom Insiders, on what CEOs and other C-suite leaders are focusing on amid the pandemic, the importance of “considered insight,” executive relationship mapping, and the challenge of orchestrating executive insight and experience across the full range of marketing and sales activities.
  • Pradeep U.N., Director of Customer and Field Experience at Microsoft, on Microsoft’s Services Executive Board, a high-touch program that brings together a global group of CEOs and CIOs for collaborative exploration of critical business challenges, and how they went digital almost overnight in the early days of the pandemic.

We’ll have more episodes online soon – and available wherever you get your podcasts.

And a special thanks to our sponsor, Boardroom Insiders, a business intelligence platform that makes executive engagement easier than ever.
