ITSMA's
Solutions Council is comprised of senior-level executives who have significant
influence over their companies’ solutions
businesses. It is a peer network designed to raise the bar for developing,
marketing, and selling integrated, technology-based solutions through
best practice knowledge sharing and research.
Solution: A solution
is a combination of products and/or services with intellectual capital,
focused on a particular customer problem and driving measurable business
value to customers. (Adopted by ITSMA's
Solutions Council as of April 2006)
Collectively, the Solutions Council:
- Sponsors a body of research on solutions benchmarking, best practices,
and buyer wants and needs
- Sets industry standards on selected solutions practices and issues
The Council is limited to 25 members. Membership is by invitation only.
