ITSMA Appoints Managing Director for Europe

ITSMA, a membership community for technology services and solutions marketers, has appointed Robert Bailey as managing director of ITSMA Europe. Responsible for the European member community of leading technology, telecommunications, and professional services companies, Bailey will lead ITSMA’s programme of events, education, research, and consultancy, all designed to keep members at the forefront of marketing practice.

Bailey is well qualified to spearhead ITSMA’s European operations. He brings to the position an extensive knowledge of IT and telecommunications and over twenty years of international marketing and business development experience. During his career, he has held a variety of senior-level roles with global telecommunications and IT services company SITA and travel technology solutions company Galileo International. He also spent five years working in Switzerland as managing director of travel technology company Traviswiss AG, initially owned by Swissair and sold to Galileo during his tenure. With an MBA from Cranfield School of Management and a BA (Hons) from Cambridge University, Bailey is involved with a number of executive-level communities, such as Critical Eye and the Executive Network, and has operational fluency in multiple languages .
