		<description>Great article Chris and terrific insights for people looking to begin an online community. Many of our clients have successfully extended their in-person communities into online settings as well.  

One thing to consider in this process is co-creating a charter with the community members.  We often find that communities that are languishing are struggling because the ownership for that community isn&#039;t shared with the members - help your members feel ownership by creating a charter with them.
