Overview

The lack of alignment among sales, marketing, and the customer’s acquisition process is something we are all aware of and a topic our members regularly battle with, perhaps increasingly so in the current downturn, as marketers face increasing pressure to provide sales with content that meets a specific need at a specific point in the sales cycle. Indeed in the 2009 ITSMA Budget Allocations and Trends Survey, Enabling the Sales Force was ranked as the No 1 priority, where it had been No 2 in 2008 and No 3 in 2007.

But where is this increased focus on Sales Enablement taking us? How are marketing teams employing innovative ideas to capture the attention of their counterparts in sales? And perhaps more simply how can we make sales aware of the wealth of information available, at the time that they need it?

At our Round Table in September, we will be covering these issues and presenting some of the findings from our 2009 Sales Enablement survey as well as sharing examples from our members of sales enablement programmes that have worked for them.

There is no charge for participation in this event, however the Roundtable is limited to 20 representatives of ITSMA member companies and is by invitation only. Lunch is included.
