The Story So Far
Created in 1994 by Richard Munn, founder of The Ledgeway Group (now part
of Gartner's Worldwide Services Group), ITSMA was designed to address
the growing importance of services marketing as a strategic discipline.
Today, ITSMA is a champion of the leadership role of marketing in services
organisations, and provides guidance to firms in their efforts to improve
marketing and sales organizations performance.
ITSMA is a member-based organisation representing the world's leading
technology organizations, including such firms as Accenture, Cisco, EDS,
Ericsson, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, and Siemens. To date,
more than 10,000 services marketing and sales professionals have participated
in ITSMA's programs.
