Participation in the Services Marketing Professional Program requires support and cooperation of a Sponsor. Typically, the Sponsor is the person who handles the applicant's annual performance reviews. A Sponsor must be someone who has the authority to craft the this applicant's goals and objectives as well as financially support his or her development.
