ITSMA Announces 2007 Marketing Excellence Awards Finalists

Winners to Be Revealed at ITSMA’s Annual Marketing Conference on November 14-15

LEXINGTON, Massachusetts—September 27, 2007—ITSMA, the leading marketing association for technology, communications, and professional services firms, today announced the finalists in its tenth annual Marketing Excellence Awards program.

“We received an outstanding crop of submissions in every category this year, including a new category that recognizes excellence in digital marketing,” said Dave Munn, president and CEO of ITSMA. “These services and solutions marketers are helping their companies win in a competitive marketplace, and all of the finalists deserve recognition for their contributions to the bottom line.”

In 2007, ITSMA accepted nominations in five categories. Up to six finalists have been chosen in each category. An international jury of marketing executives and experts will select the winners, which will be announced at a special awards dinner during ITSMA’s 2007 Marketing Conference on November 14, 2007, at The Charles Hotel in Cambridge, MA.

This year's finalists include:

  • Generating Demand through Targeted Campaigns: Avaya (two programs), Autotask, CSC, EMC, and IBM.
  • Improving Sales and Marketing Collaboration: Dow Jones, Microsoft, Nokia Siemens Networks, Rockwell Automation, and SAP.
  • Leveraging Digital Marketing Channels: Accenture, Cognos (two programs), HP, and Microsoft.
  • Sharpening Brand and Competitive Differentiation: BearingPoint, CGI, Infosys, Iron Mountain, and Polycom.
  • Strengthening Customer Relationships: BearingPoint, Cisco, HP, Open Text, and Satyam.
