IT Services Marketing Association Annual Forum Focuses on Accelerating the Turnaround for Technology Companies

Diary date: ITSMA's annual forum to be held on 24 and 25 June 2002

London, U.K.—24 May 2002— ITSMA Europe today announced that its 2002 annual forum has been designed to help mid- and senior-level marketing professionals, involved in creating, managing, and marketing technology services, to identify what they can do differently to drive their company's performance in a sector on the verge of a turnaround.

Taking a pragmatic approach, the forum and workshop to be held on 24 and 25 June at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel at Heathrow, will give tips on where companies need to invest their marketing resources to get the biggest return, accepting that marketing chiefs are today focused on activities that drive enhanced results with fewer resources.

On the second day, a workshop style will be used to explore how marketing chiefs can build influence internally, identify what key stakeholders expect from marketing, and take advantage of best practices in measurement and reporting techniques. Case study examples from ITSMA's extensive member base and research programme will be used throughout to illustrate current practice and approaches to these issues.
