Honoring
Special Achievement in Services
and Solutions Marketing
Launched in 1998, ITSMA's Marketing Excellence Awards focus exclusively
on the largest segment of the technology business: technology services
and solutions. The awards program is based on a comprehensive and strategic
approach to marketing, recognizing that business success today requires
marketers to move beyond the traditional realm of communications into
such areas as developing new solutions, increasing sales effectiveness,
and managing the customer experience. The program looks beyond flash
and glitz to emphasize excellence in the three most critical aspects
of success: innovation, execution, and business results.
Categories for the 2008 awards include:
Sharpening Brand and Competitive Differentiation
Leveraging Digital Marketing
Strengthening Customer Relationships
Launching New Solutions
Enabling Sales
Generating Demand
Award winners have included Accenture, Alfa Wassermann, AT&T, Avaya,
BEA, BearingPoint, BMC Software, BT, Capgemini, CDW, Cisco, EDS, EMC,
Hewlett-Packard, Honeywell, IBM Global Services, IKON, Infosys, Lucent,
NCR Teradata, Network Appliance, Northrop Grumman, Oracle, SAP, Siemens,

that market and sell technology-related services or solutions. Submissions

in the Application Form and Submission Guidelines.
Award Types ITSMA will designate two winners in each category: Diamond winners
(best in class for the industry) and Gold winners (standout achievement
in improving marketing performance). ITSMA reserves the right to not
designate an award recipient in any category where the judges conclude
the level of entries was not of the necessary quality.
Award Selection
