ITSMA Executive Roundtable

ITSMA's invitation-only, half-day executive roundtables provide
senior marketing executives a great opportunity to discuss current challenges
with peers from other member companies. Executive roundtables also feature
exploration of new ITSMA research on critical marketing and sales issues.
The market for IT services and solutions is looking up in 2004, but marketers
remain focused on driving near-term revenue with targeted campaigns and
intensive sales support. ITSMA's first executive roundtable of 2004 will
therefore focus especially on one of the most urgent questions facing
most ITSMA member companies: How can marketing increase its impact on
sales and accelerate the sales cycle. Specifically, the roundtable will
address such issues as:
- Marketing's role in account planning
- Maximizing the impact of sales support and tools
- Lead generation and lead management
- Sales training for services and solutions
Beyond the main topics, the roundtable is also designed to facilitate
open discussion on other top issues facing marketing executives today.
ITSMA's Dave Munn and Steve Hurley will facilitate the session, which
is designed for maximum discussion and debate. Dave and Steve will also
present findings from ITSMA's recently completed 2003 Sales Performance
Study, which provides extensive data on sales practices from more
than two dozen leading IT services organizations.
Lunch is included.
